What Should I expect?

Depending on the treatment, you may receive a topical anesthetic to apply up to an hour before to reduce sensation in the treated areas. A single device rolls over the targeted area delivering brief pulses of laser light energy to the skin. Patients describe the feeling as a prickling heat. The treatment’s advanced technology evenly distributes energy and determines the ideal duration.

The entire treatment typically lasts 20-30 minutes. Afterwards patients may experience slight redness in the area which disappears within a few days. Skin flaking and crusting is normal. Avoiding sun exposure and keeping the skin covered for 24 hours post procedure are a must. After a day or two, normal daily activities including wearing makeup can resume.
